Laidley in Queensland will host a two-day festival celebrating classic cars and retro culture at the Laidley Showgrounds on 29 August and 30 August, 2026.
The event, known as Krome Rock N Rods – The Rockin’ Revival, is organised by Unique Epic Events and will feature hot rods, muscle cars, and vintage caravans. Visitors can expect live rock and roll music, vendor markets, and pin-up competitions throughout the weekend.
According to the local tourism site Luvya Lockyer, the festival gates will open at 9:00am each morning. Organisers are also using the weekend to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation through a community pin-up contest.
Tickets for the festival are available through Humanitix, with adult day passes costing $20 and full weekend passes priced at $30. People wishing to display their own classic vehicles or motorbikes can also sign up for a display pass for $20 per day.
On-site camping and caravan spots will be available at the showgrounds, with more details about these sites expected closer to the event date. The arrival of car fans and tourists is expected to provide extra business for local cafes, pubs, and accommodation providers in the area.
