The Porters Plainland Hotel in Plainland, Queensland, will host a live music performance by the artist Celtic Cowboy on Friday, 27 February 2026. This evening event aims to provide local residents and visitors with a low-cost entertainment option to start their weekend in the Laidley area.
The performance will take place in the Main Bar of the hotel from 7:30 pm until 10:30 pm. The show features a combination of guitar and vocals, and is expected to increase foot traffic and dinner bookings at the venue and nearby businesses.
According to Luvya Lockyer, the hotel is a long-standing community hub located at 66 Laidley-Plainland Road. The venue was recently recognised for its quality service, being named the best regional bistro and best pub stay in Queensland for 2025.
This live music night is part of a regular series of events at the hotel, which has been run by the same family since 1946. Local residents who cannot attend this Friday will have another chance to see the performer when he returns for another session on 13 March 2026.
