GOULBURN — Families in Goulburn have access to supervised holiday activities for children this month, with both the Police Citizens Youth Club and Goulburn Mulwaree Council offering programs throughout the autumn school break.

The programs provide options for local youth to remain active and socially connected during the holidays, offering a variety of constructive activities for different age groups.

The Police Citizens Youth Club Goulburn, located at the corner of Avoca and Derwent Streets, is running a program for children aged 5 to 12 years from 6 April to 21 April 2026. The daily rate is $50, and families can take advantage of a promotion where booking three days allows for a fourth day free of charge.

The facility provides supervised care from 9 am to 3 pm, with extended hours available from 8 am drop-off until 4 pm pick-up. Activities include sports such as futsal, basketball, volleyball, and gymnastics, alongside creative arts like painting and crafts, and various STEM challenges.

Parents may also be able to reduce costs by using the NSW Government Active and Creative Kids vouchers, which are accepted for eligible activities. Families interested in the Police Citizens Youth Club program can register by calling 4822 2133, emailing goulburn@pcycnsw.org.au, or using the online booking platform.

For older youth aged 12 to 18 years, the Goulburn Mulwaree Council Youth Services team is running a separate program based at the Goulburn Community Centre, located at 155 Auburn Street. This program focuses on hands-on activities and excursions to help teenagers stay engaged.

These local youth initiatives align with the broader mission of the Police Citizens Youth Club, a charity established in 1937 that works in partnership with the community and police. The Goulburn branch has recently been a focus for infrastructure improvements, having received over $200,000 in government funding to support the development of a local Youth Hub designed to consolidate services for young people.
