The City of Coffs Harbour in New South Wales has released a program of free and low-cost events for the 2026 NSW Seniors Festival. Running from 2 March to 15 March, 2026, the festival aims to help older residents stay active and meet new people through a variety of social events and workshops.
This year’s theme is “Live Life in Colour,” with many activities taking place at Yarrila Place and the Jetty Memorial Theatre. Residents can take part in technology training to improve their digital skills or attend information sessions hosted by the Seniors Rights Service.
A major feature of the 2026 program is a free bus trip and guided tour of Karangi Dam, which includes morning tea and a talk about the local water supply. Other community events include an art workshop for residents living with arthritis, organised by the Coffs Harbour Older Women’s Network.
The festival will conclude on Sunday, 15 March, 2026, with a free outdoor concert at the Botanic Gardens. The Coffs Harbour City Orchestra will perform a selection of classical and popular songs to mark the end of the two-week celebration.
Because many of the sessions are expected to be popular, the council recommends that residents book their seats in advance. The full schedule is designed to provide practical support and fun social opportunities for seniors and their carers across the region.
