The Englands Road Waste Management Facility in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, has reopened to the public after electrical problems caused by recent storms were repaired. Residents can now return to the facility at 31a Englands Road in North Boambee Valley to drop off large household items and use their disposal vouchers before they expire at the end of the month.

According to the City of Coffs Harbour, eligible households receive two bulky goods vouchers every year to help with cleaning out their homes. Each voucher covers up to 200kg of waste, including large items such as fridges, washing machines, sofas, bed bases, and mattresses.

The Coffs Coast Waste Services team confirmed that the site also accepts smaller electrical goods like televisions and toasters, as well as metal guttering and old toys. Because these vouchers are issued on a March-to-March cycle, the reopening gives locals a final opportunity to use their current passes before they expire on 31 March 2026.

Free recycling services also remain available at the Community Recycling Centre located at the same site. This service allows residents to safely drop off problem waste including paint, gas bottles, motor oil, and cooking oil without using a voucher.

The facility is part of a regional partnership that serves more than 40,000 residents across the Coffs Coast. For those who cannot transport their own large items, Handybin Waste Services continues to manage the regular bin collections and kerbside services for the community.
