Amy Riddle from Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, has been named a finalist for the 2026 NSW Regional Woman of the Year Award. The local community leader was publicly praised on 20 February, 2026, by Member for Coffs Harbour Gurmesh Singh, who encouraged residents to vote for her ahead of the final announcement in March.

Ms Riddle is being recognised for her work helping people in the local justice system avoid returning to prison. She currently serves as a representative for the Public Service Association, where she focuses on health and support services for young people and adults on the Mid North Coast.

Mr Singh, who became the leader of the NSW National Party in late 2025, said the nomination highlights the important local efforts to improve the lives of vulnerable people. He urged the community to back Ms Riddle during the public voting stage of the awards to celebrate her leadership.

The NSW Government initiative celebrates the achievements of women across the state who contribute to their local towns. The final winners for the 2026 awards will be announced during NSW Women’s Week in early March.
