Families in Blacktown have a free way to celebrate the holiday weekend with the return of the Blacktown Easter Show to the Blacktown Showground. The event, which runs from 27 March to 29 March 2026, offers free entry for the community and features a variety of food vendors, market stalls, and entertainment.
The event is hosted by Bossman Experiences in partnership with Blacktown City Council. Organisers have arranged several free activities for children, including a petting zoo and egg handouts, with an opportunity for photos with the Easter Bunny available on Saturday night.
Highlights for the weekend include a fireworks display at 9pm on Saturday, 28 March, and a dedicated kids zone operating on Sunday, 29 March, from midday to 4pm. Visitors can browse more than 25 food and retail vendors, including those offering showbags and various dining options.
The showground is located at the corner of Richmond Road and Balmoral Street. Attendees should note that the small car park at the venue will be closed throughout the event, with main parking available along Richmond Road. Those choosing to use public transport can take the T1 train line or the 800 bus to Blacktown Station, which is a five-minute walk from the grounds.
Event hours are Friday from 5pm to 10pm, Saturday from 12pm to 10pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 8pm.
