The Blacktown Easter Show returns to the Blacktown Showground in New South Wales this weekend, offering families a free community event from Friday 27 March to Sunday 29 March 2026. Organised by Bossman Experiences, the three-day festival includes amusement rides, food stalls, and a free egg hunt for children.

Visitors can try various foods from vendors such as Spudhole, Huddy Eats, and Flappy’s Fried Chicken, or browse through a range of showbags and sideshow games. The event also features a petting zoo, a temporary tattoo stand, and hair braiding. On Saturday night at 9pm, the skies will light up with a fireworks display, and children can get a free photo with the Easter Bunny.

According to Blacktown City Council, the show is being marketed as the only Easter show in Sydney with free entry. The gates at the corner of Richmond Road and Balmoral Street open at 5pm on Friday, and from 12pm on Saturday and Sunday. Main parking for the event is located along Richmond Road.

In line with the council’s focus on the environment, guests are encouraged to bring their own reusable shopping bags to help reduce waste. The organisers have focused on bringing popular food brands to the local area to provide a family option that avoids the larger crowds and ticket costs of other major city shows.
